THE BLACK NONPROFIT
RESOURCE DIRECTORY

The Black Nonprofit Resource Directory is complete, and we are distributing them. Thank you for your patience. We hope this directory helps increase awareness of your organization and support for your work!

Background:
To identify, raise awareness of, and increase support for Black-founded, Black-led non-profits, we are excited to announce the creation of a Black Nonprofit Resource Directory. The deadline to be included was Friday, July 15th. We appreciate that over 60 agencies took part in the directory. We expect the directories to be available for distribution on August 1, 2022. All agencies will receive a complimentary copy.

Our work will conclude with The 2022 Black Non-Profit Leadership Symposium. The symposium will be a celebration of our work in the community, and an opportunity to network and learn from industry leaders on topics that are most important to us.  The symposium is on Friday, July 22nd from 9:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Library doors open at 9:00. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to my email or text to my phone, both listed below. Everyone is welcome to attend, but RSVP allows us to manage available seating.

Thank you for the work you are doing. It is important,  and it is our goal to help ensure this very important work is sustained and elevated within our communities.  We thank the Kansas City Public Library for their sponsorship and support.   If you have questions or would like additional information, please reach out to terri@theniaprojectkc.org or 816-673-9018.
